It took a while, but me and Tara managed to catch that rabbit thing. I tell you though, it took a lot of work, but at least we won't be going hungry tonight.
We were chasing the rabbit-like creature on land, but it ended up hopping into the stream. To avoid losing dinner for the evening, Tara jumped into the water to try and neutralize it.
"Damn it, I dropped my axe in the water," Tara yelled as she was chasing the rabbit-like creature.
"We got this," I replied. "Try and make it come towards me."
Tara continued to chase the creature in the water, and she got the creature to move closer to land where I was standing.
"Richard, it's right by you, she said"
I took my axe and tried to strike the creature, but the thing was too fast. I ended up hitting the ground instead.
"Damn this thing is fast," I told Tara.
The chase went on for a little while longer until Tara managed to land a punch on the creature which snapped its neck.
Tara dragged the body of the creature out of the water, "Well that takes care of that."
"Good work, Tara, I said as I gave her a pat on the shoulder."
Well, it's starting to get dark out now. We better try to make a campfire, and I guess tomorrow me and Tara will get back to searching for Genevieve, Stephon, and Brian. We don't know if they're here, but if they are, we need to get everyone together to figure out what we're gonna do about this place. We need to find a way to get back home.
