Material Expedition

After a good night's rest, me and Tara got up and had lunch. Shortly after, we set out on another material run to gather materials so that I could finish both of our armor. We decided to return to the area where we encountered that possessed deer.

"Well, let's do some exploring, Tara," I said. "There's gotta be some creatures around here that we can hunt."

"Just leave the deer alone, Richard!" Tara replied,

"Of course!" I said.

We began exploring the hilly area for some creatures to hunt. We encountered a pair of giant hyenas and put an end to them. We processed them for their hide, and then we moved on.

While we continued to search for more creatures to hunt, we stumbled upon a bandit's camp. The bandits were hostile and immediately began to attack us. With our new weapons, me and Tara fought off the villains ultimately putting an end to their lives, and then we searched their camp for anything that we could put to good use.

"All of the people that we've encountered in this time and world so far have turned out to be violent," I said to Tara. "I wonder if we'll ever meet anyone who's friendly."

"Hopefully, we do," she replied. "It also doesn't help that they speak a different language."

"Yeah, it doesn't help if nobody understands each other," I said. "Alright, let's continue moving."

The sun was beginning to set, so me and Tara began to head back to Felicia before it became dark out.

It was beginning to get dark out, and Me and Tara were almost back in Felicia. We made a quick stop by the beach to check out the scenery. We could see campfires in the distance.

"Look at all of the lights, Ricky," Tara said as she pointed to the campfires that could be seen in the distance.

"Although we've only had bad encounters with the people of this time and world, I guess it's still good to know that we're not the only ones here," I replied. "I wonder though... Are there any cities with civilized people out there?"

Tara leaned up against a tree as she continued to watch the lights. "If there is civilization, I wonder what their cities look like."

After a long day of hide gathering yesterday, me and Tara went straight to bed. We woke up early today, had some breakfast, and began gathering some iron ore.

After gathering iron ore for a few hours, we focused our efforts on cutting down trees to gather some wood for the furnaces.

"Alright, I think we have enough resources to finish up with our armor," I said to Tara. "The wood was the last of the material that we needed."

"Sounds good, Ricky," she said. "It'll be nice to finally get some proper armor."

Anyways, me and Tara just finished bringing all of the iron ore and wood back to Felicia, and now we're just having some relaxation time.
