While me and Tara were exploring the area at the bottom of the cliffs, we discovered, yet again, another bandit outpost. Unfortunately, we weren't able to surprise attack them because they saw us coming from the distance. However, it didn't make a difference because me and Tara battled the bandits and still put them where they belong, in their graves.
"They won't be missed," I said to Tara. "That last one wouldn't shut up until you put that arrow through his head."
"I really don't like having to resort to violence, but these bandits leave us with no choice," Tara replied.
"It's okay, Tara," I said. "They're murderers, and it would've been either us or them."
"I know, but still," Tara responded. "I just wish everyone was peaceful and nice to one another."
"Yeah, I know what you mean," I said. "Sadly though, there's evil out there that thinks differently."
I hugged Tara and tried to comfort her as best as I could.
I feel sorry for Tara. Sometimes, these battles with the bandits can be emotionally overwhelming. They're criminals and murderers, but they're still people. However, they chose their path, and there's no place for evil in British Columbia or anywhere else.
