A House by the Shore

After some more hard work and time, me and Tara finished up with the walls and ceiling of our house. We also made a door, put up some torches, and placed some more foundation so we could have some steps leading up to the door. The house is looking pretty good, but we still need to add some windows. We'll have to leave that and the decorations for another time because me and Tara have to head back to the outpost in the morning.

"Well, that was a lot of hard work we put into the house so far," I said to Tara. "It's looking pretty damn good."

"It's going to be nice to have a home by the shore," Tara replied. "Hopefully, those eggs will hatch, and then we'll have some pet birds as well."

"Speaking of the birds," I said. "We better pack those eggs up and bring them with us back to the outpost."

"I already have them packed," Tara replied. "I wouldn't leave my pet birds all alone, Ricky!"

"Of course you wouldn't, princess," I responded.

Me and Tara laughed.

Well, me and Tara are heading to bed now so that we can get a good night's rest before we head back to the outpost in the morning. I have to say that I sure enjoyed these last few days or so down here at the shore. It's been really calm and peaceful for the most part. Me and Tara will be back down here to work more on the house soon enough though.
