Exploring the Ruins

After taking a few moments to process the experience that me and Tara had, we made our way to the ruins. We were standing outside of what was left of the structure.

"This place may be in ruins, but it still looks so beautiful," Tara said. "I wonder how this place became ruins in the first place."

I examined the structure. "Well, I'm just gonna assume that something bad happened."

Me and Tara entered the ruins. The structure was made of white stone walls and a white stone floor with natural vegetation growing all over it. There were two sets of stairs. One of them was destroyed that looked like it led to a floor that would've once been above us, and the other set of stairs looked like it led to a floor below us.

"This place looks pretty cool," I said to Tara. "I think this place would make a great drinking spot."

Tara laughed. "I think almost any place would make a great drinking spot for you, Ricky!"

"Heh!" I responded.

Me and Tara were examining the ruins, and I could sense some kind of energy flowing around us.

"Can you sense it, Tara?" I asked. "I feel as if there's some kind of force flowing around us in here."

"Yes, I can, Ricky," Tara replied. "It's similar to the feeling I had before we had that experience just before we came here."

Me and Tara stood still in silence for a few moments to focus on this mysterious energy that was flowing around us. Everything went bright, and then images of a different past from this one revealed themselves.

"Ricky, I just saw us as ourselves now but in a different place," Tara said. "We were in a classroom and talking."

"I think I just saw the same thing as you," I replied. "We were talking by the window in that classroom."

"Yes," Tara responded. "That's what I saw."

Me and Tara stood there looking at each other as we were trying to make sense of all of this.

"It's almost as if this place is some kind of a link between the same time but a different dimension," Tara said. "Just like how this place was different the last time we were here."

"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm thinking," I replied.

Me and Tara took a few more moments to reflect upon the experience we just had, and then we wandered around the main floor of the ruins for a bit.

"Well, I gotta say that this place is pretty damn interesting," I said to Tara. "It must've been some kind of a tower or something."

"I wonder what's beneath us," Tara responded. "Do you want to go down those stairs over there and see?"

"I don't know about that," I said. "It could be dangerous, and we should probably get back to our resource gathering."

"I suppose your right, Ricky," Tara replied.

Well, me and Tara are just about to leave the ruins and continue on with our resource gathering. Just like Tara, I'm also curious as to what's below the ruins, but we just can't take the risk right now. We have to focus on building our camp, and then I have to try and find a way to bring us back to the world of the future so that we can rescue our friends and hopefully find a way to bring us all back to Willow Creek 1994.
