After successfully getting the campfire lit, I began to cook up the fish.
"Alright, let's get this going," I said.
Me and Tara were sitting by the campfire waiting for the fish to cook.
"It's a shame we don't have any seasoning or anything," I said to Tara.
"It would've been nice," Tara replied.
"I usually like to season fish with seasoning salt," I said. "Fish and seasoning salt make a good combination."
"Garlic powder goes good with fish too," Tara replied.
Once the fish was finally cooked, I took a bite, and it was pretty damn tasty.
"This tastes pretty good," I said. "Not bad for some kind of dimensional fish."
"It smells good," Tara responded.
After taking a few more bites of the fish, I gave the rest to Tara. She also thought it tasted pretty delicious as well.
"Not bad at all," Tara said.
"Sure beats eating grass!" I replied.
Me and Tara laughed.
I'm still disappointed that we only caught one fish. Sharing it between the two of us was just not enough to make us full. We'll just have to try and do some more fishing tomorrow. Hopefully, we'll have better luck though.
