It was getting dark out. I finally caught a fish, but we still needed at least one more. So, me and Tara continued to fish.
"Well, hopefully, one of us will catch another one soon," I said to Tara.
"I hope so too," she replied. "I'm starving!"

Me and Tara were talking about some of the events that we experienced together in the world of the future while we continued to fish, and then suddenly, I felt a snag. I reeled in my rod and saw some kind of a metal object stuck on the hook. I took the object off of the hook and examined it.
"What the heck is this?" I asked.
"It looks like a missing part from some kind of machinery," Tara replied.
"Well, I guess I may as well keep it as a souvenir," I said.

After talking and fishing for a while more, Tara had some luck and finally caught a fish.
"Ricky!" Tara shouted with much excitement in her voice. "I finally caught one!"
"Nice!" I replied.
"Let's go back inside and cook the two fish we caught," Tara said.
"Sounds good to me," I replied.

I'm glad that me and Tara finally both caught a fish. I was beginning to lose hope, and I was beginning to worry that we may have had no choice but to eat grass for dinner. Tomorrow, we'll have to try and do some hunting for food. It should be easier to hunt rather than to spend all damn day fishing. However, if we do go hunting tomorrow, we'll need to find or make some weapons.
