After the man with a body of a horse introduced himself and me and Tara realized that he was not a threat, we began to have a conversation with him.
"Hello, Arthur," I said. "I'm Richard, and this is Tara."
"Hello," Tara said to Arthur.
"It's a pleasure to meet you two youngsters," Arthur responded. "I saw a light fall from the sky near the shore, and when I went to see what it was that fell, I saw you two lying on the ground by the shore. I saw you two come to the circle of stone pillars, so I came here to see if you two were okay."
"So, it was the same light that brought the portal into the world of the future that brought us into the world of the far past," I said to Tara. "It must have been the light and not the world that was pulling us through space and time."
"That explains why we saw the bright light as we were coming close to the world of the far past," Tara replied.
"You two youngsters must be drifters too," Arthur responded. "However, you look very familiar, little miss."
"Familiar?" Tara replied to Arthur. What do you mean?
"You look identical to a young girl who used to wander around here, but one day she vanished and nobody heard from her again," Arthur responded to Tara.
Tara was lost in deep thought. "Oh my."
"What do you mean that we must be drifters," I asked Arthur.
"Drifters are what we call those who are not from this world but end up getting trapped here," Arthur replied. "We're not sure how they end up here, but we try to welcome them and make them feel at home as best as we can."
"So, there are other people who come from different times and worlds just like us here," Tara said to me.
"Wow, this really is something," I replied to Tara.
So, me and Tara are known as drifters to the people in the world of the far past. It's quite interesting to know that we're not the only ones here who come from different times and worlds. I wonder who that girl that Arthur said looked like Tara was. I wonder what happened to her.
"Just out of curiosity," I said to Arthur. "What is the name of this world?"
"I'm terribly sorry that I haven't already mentioned it," Arthur replied. "But welcome to British Columbia!"
Me and Tara looked at each other in surprise.
"My experiences were accurate," I said to Tara. "This really is British Columbia."
"That means the town you were talking about must also be real," Tara replied. "I believe you said the name was Chilliwack."
"Yup, that's the name," I said to Tara.
Wow, British Columbia really is the name of the world of the far past. It just amazes me on how accurate the experiences that I have been having are. Now, I have to find out if there really is a town called Chilliwack here.
"I just have another question," I said to Arthur. "By any chance, would there be a town called Chilliwack in British Columbia?"
Arthur looked at me in surprise. "Yes there is, but how did know that?"
"It's a long story," I replied. "Do you know how far Chilliwack it is from here?"
"It's not too far, and you can actually even see the town from here," Arthur responded as he pointed his finger to the south. "I can even escort you two there if you two want."
"Thanks, but we should be able to get there on our own," I said to Arthur. "Me and Tara just want to explore around this area for a bit."
"Alright, well then you two youngsters have some fun," Arthur replied. "Just don't wander too close to that castle in the northwest region."
"A castle?" Tara responded.
"Yes, it's been there since the beginning of time according to our history," Arthur said. "Not much is known about the castle, but our ancestors through the generations have always warned about staying away from it."
"Thanks for the warning," I replied to Arthur. "Alright Tara, let's go check out that house."
"Let's go!" Tara responded to me. "Take care, Arthur."
"Have fun, you two youngsters," Arthur said. "I'll be around here if you need me."
Me and Tara waved goodbye to Arthur and began to make our way to the house that we spotted from the shore.

A girl who looked like Tara went missing and a castle that those from the generations have warned to stay away from, I have to say that this place just keeps getting more mysterious as me and Tara learn more about it. Which reminds me, I forgot to ask Arthur what the purpose was for the circle of stone pillars. I guess I'll have to ask him the next time we see him.
