A Light From the Sky

The light that fell from the sky last night had really inflicted us with a great deal of interest as to what it was. Me, Tara, Genevieve, and Stephon had decided that we were going to go search for the location where the light fell.

"It almost looked as if the light fell somewhere near that destroyed bridge we discovered a while ago," Tara said to me. "You know, near where we fought that giant mutant and saw those wandering spirits."

"Yeah, I think you're right, Tara," I replied. "We should probably try searching in that area."

"You know, you guys suck!" Stephon responded. "You guys didn't even wake me up to go see the damn light falling."

Me, Tara, and Genevieve laughed.

"Aww," Genevieve replied to Stephon. "Sorry about that."

Stephon gave Genevieve a dirty look. "I'll always remember this!"

Me, Tara, and Genevieve laughed again.

As we were making our way towards the location, we encountered several giant turtles on the way. We slew all of the giant turtles that came into our path. As we continued traveling, we ran into a group of bandits. As we were fighting the bandits, a large group of heavily armored soldiers emerged and killed the remaining bandits and began to attack us.

"These don't look like bandits," I shouted as I was skirmishing with a soldier. "These guys are heavily armored which means they have a higher level of technology."

"They must be part of a civilization," Tara yelled.

We continued to fight the soldiers, but the battle wasn't looking too good for us.

"These fuckers are tough," Stephon shouted. "They have much better equipment than we do."

"I hate to say it, but I don't think we even come close to standing a chance against these troops," Genevieve yelled.

"We better run for it," Tara shouted. "Otherwise, they're going to put an end to us."

"Yeah, it's time to flee," I shouted as I began to run.

I was running as fast as could to try and escape.

"Ricky, watch out," I could here Tara shouting. "They're all coming for you."

"Shit," I said to myself.

I continued to run and eventually made my way to a small cliff. I climbed up the cliff, and the heavily armored soldiers gave up and wandered into the distance.

After making sure that it was safe, I made my way down from the cliff and re-joined Tara, Genevieve, and Stephon. We continued to travel towards the location of the destroyed bridge.

"Did you see the fucking armor on those guy?" Stephon asked. "Their armor made our armor look like shit."

"I wonder where they came from," Tara replied. "Perhaps there's a civilization somewhere near this area."

"Let me get this right," Genevieve responded. "So, the bandits want us dead, and the civilized folks want us dead too."

"Well, there's always the possibility that the soldiers may have thought that we were a part of that group of bandits that we were fighting."

"That's actually quite possible," Tara replied.

We continued to move forward, and the night eventually fell upon us. We set up a campfire and decided to take a rest for the night.

"Well, the destroyed bridge is just over there in the distance," I said.

"Wow," Genevieve replied. "What an interesting-looking structure."

"Wait until you see the spirits that walk on it," Tara responded to Genevieve.

"Spirits," Stephon replied. "Maybe they can help us find a way to leave this world and go back home."

Me, Tara, Genevieve, and Stephon talked for a bit longer, and then it was time to get some sleep.

Tara, Genevieve, and Stephon are asleep now, and I'm about to crash myself. I wonder if the light that fell from the sky the other night will have some of the answers we're looking for. I guess we'll find out. Of course, that's if we can find where the light fell.

British Columbia, Chilliwack... I keep thinking about those names. It is beginning to haunt me. Something dramatic is going to happen soon. I can feel it, but I can't stop it...
