Reflecting on Time

I'm just outside reflecting on time right now. It's so strange being in the same area in the past as I am in the future. In 1994, I have a nicely decorated yard, and there's a house next to mine. However, here in 2001, my yard only consists of grass, and there's a vacant lot next to my place right now. One thing that really baffles me is that 1994 is in the future, and 2001 is in the past based on the time traveling I've done. It just makes me think of different dimensions of time. That is the only logical explanation I can think of as to why this is the way it is.
